Friendship

Over the years, I’ve met a lot of people in my life. Some of them I can call friends, some of them acquaintances and only a few of them best friends.

Me and my best friend know each other since we were kids. We went to the same school together, we sat together, we ate together, we basically did everything together. When one of us had a problem, we would talk to each other and give advice to one another.

You don’t have to like your best friend 100%, for example I don’t like how stubborn she is, I don’t like how she says “I don’t know” to every question you ask her, sometimes she drives me crazy because she can’t really keep her mouth shut in certain situations, making me look bad in front of others although I know she thought that wouldn’t affect me. But in exchange she is really thoughtful, and caring about others. I could say that she is pretty organized although she doesn’t know what she wants to persue after highschool yet. She really likes helping others but between a human and an animal she would much rather choose helping an animal.

A friendship without fights isn’t really a true friendship. I remember once we didn’t speak to each other for 3 days…that’s the longest we were in a fight for. But although we got into fights now and then we would forgive each other and literally forget what happened. But after a fight like that, our friendship would grow stronger, it wouldn’t break, that is what’s important.

Not every friendship lasts, but the ones that do last no matter what…now, that is a true friendship.
