5 steps to improve yourself!

I believe we are who we choose to be. Nobody is going to make you the person you want to be, you have to make it yourself. For most of the people is different. The realization that unless you change now, you’ll never really change. Nobody knows what you want except you and nobody will be as sorry as you if you don’t change. Just imagine who you can be a year from now, 5 years from now. Choose to remain the same and I guarantee you that you will have the same problems, the same emotions, the same routine, the same storms and until you love yourself enough to say no more and until you start being intelligent about the choices you make, you won’t be happy.

Step 1: knowledge is power

Watch a documentary, read a book, listen to the news, learn something new. Do anything you can to improve your mind.

Step 2: hygiene

A clean room equals a clear mind and that’s how you start being more relaxed and calm. Your room is the place where you spend most of your time so make sure it’s a nice place to be in order to feel good. Cause if you come home and your room looks like a mess, I can guarantee you’ll be a mess too and you’ll start to feel more stressed and anxious.

Step 3: buy a beautiful journal or agenda and make it yours

Write down everythng. Your goals, to do lists, your fitness schedule, what type of emotional state you are going through, etc. This will make you clarify what you want and how you feel and will actualy make you be more productive and more likely to get things done. Studies have shown that you are 42% more likely to achieve your goals if you write them down.

Step 4: drink a lot of water

It helps you maintain the balance of body fluids, control calories, energise muscles and it keeps your skin looking good. Also, it’s really important to drink at least one glass of water as soon as you wake up, because overnight your body dehydrates, losing the sources of water it had.

Step 5: exercise

Your first workout will feel like hell, but give it time and you’ll actually start loving it and you’ll start getting better and stronger. More than that, you’ll start craving those endorphins you feel during the workout. Oh, and don’t forget to stretch to increase mobility and decrease the chances of injury.

A long journey that begins with these 5 steps. I think it's worth it.
